BORROW IT in runs a library of things in Islington. For a small monthly fee you can borrow tools and household things that you only need now and then. This save money and saves space. We think that sharing things is a great way to make resources go further and reduce our environmental impact. We are a voluntary led organisation and dependent upon people giving their time. Residents of Clarion and Peabody homes can join for FREE.

New members can join by completing the on-line registration form, in the link below and load two photos of your ID and proof of address to our Google Form.

When we have ensured you are over 18 and checked your address you will be able to log in to the website here.

When you have joined you can borrow tools from the website using the button above. When you go in to the website to borrow tools, you must select 'reserve' and enter the dates you want. You are limited to 5 days.
When you have the dates you will receive a PIN number. Go to the smart-kiosk and select 'Collect' or 'Return' with the PIN number.
Our smart-kiosk are at 48 Collier Street N1 9QZ or at Caxton House 129 St John Way N19 3RQ.
Residents on low income or in social housing can join for FREE. Standard membership is £3,75.
Book things out after 8pm on Wednesdays and return them by 12:00 (noon) the following Wednesday, so our amazing team can do our safety checks between 12-8pm. Collect and return anytime in between these times.
